Fawcett was the best-known star of the television series Charlie's
Angels, even though she was only a part of the cast for one year.
Her famous swim-suit poster was an icon of the 70's. Her nude appearance in Playboy magazine in 1995 was the best selling issue of the decade. Later in her career she took on more challenging roles in both television and off-Broadway. Farrah died of cancer on June 25, 2009.
